RESOLUTION NO. _ ,
WHEREAS, CAROLE ANN ISHIMARU, formerly a Naalehu Elementary
School teacher and presently at Hilo High School, has again
gained State-wide prominence for her educational talents; and
WHEREAS, CAROLE ANN ISHIMARU has been named the State winner
in the 4-H alumni recognition program and is now eligible for
consideration at the national level; and
WHEREAS, at Hilo High School, she has been deeply involved
in student affairs, acting as an advisor to various committees
and in special tutoring programs; and
WHEREAS, during her 4-H years, she served as president,
secretary and junior leader of the Hilo Federation County 4-H
Club and specialized in a career exploration project; and
WHEREAS, CAROLE ANN ISHIMARU is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs.
Robert Ishimaru of Hilo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that it takes this means to offer recognition and
congratulations to CAROLE ANN ISHIMARU on being named the recipient
of the 4-H alumni award.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
be and is hereby directed to transmit true copies of this resolution
to CAROLE ANN ISHIMARU and Mt . & Mrs. Robert Ishimaru.
