Resolution
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii no longer has any interest or use for
the old Kamuela Courthouse Building covered under Executive Order No. 210;
WHEREAS, the Board of Land and Natural Resources under Agenda item F-4
of its February 14, 1975 meeting acted to rescind Executive Order No. 210
and to reissue a new executive order for the court and fire facilities only;
so that the Waimea School facilities will be separated from the court and
fire facilities:
NOV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the courthouse portion of the proposed new executive order be and is
directed to be returned. to the State of Hawaii and that the proposed new
executive order to the County of Hawaii cover the area for fire facilities
only.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk. be authorized and directed
to forward a copy of this resolution to Mr. Christopher Cobb, Mr. James Detor,
Mr. Larry Mehau, and Mrs. Mildred Yamamoto of the Department of Land and
Natural Resources; to the Third Circuit Court: to the State District Court
(Hawaii) ; and to the Department of Public Works, County of Hawaii.
