Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 50, reports as follows:
Bill No. 50, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 200 dated
March 21, 2019, amends Ordinance No. 18-68, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County
of Hawai`i for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2019.
This bill increases revenues in the Federal—HOME Program account($482,731); and appropriates
the same to the following accounts: Habitat for Humanity—Puna Self-Help Housing($451,221);
Tenant Base Rental Assistance Program ($6,104); and Office of Housing and Community Development
Administration($25,406).
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 50, and recommends its
passage on first reading.
