HomeMy WebLinkAboutDIG First Reading 1-000 (1996-08-07) 1994-1996 (2)M Bills 297, 299, and 300 I hereby certify that the following Bills passed first reading at the meeting of the County Council on August 7, 1996, by vote as listed below: BILL 297: 'An Ordinance to amend Ordinance 96-68, relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1996, to June 30, 1997, by adding the following project: PARKS & RECREATION Kahalu'u Park Improvement - Private ($10,000),,- funds for this project shall be provided from Fund Balance - Designated ($10,000). AYES: Councilmembers Arakaki, Childs, Domingo, Easley, Osorio, Ray, Smith, and Council Chairman De Lima, - 8. NOES: None. BILL 299: An Ordinance to amend Ordinance 96-72, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1997, by icreasing revenues in the Federal Grant Community Policing account by $70,845; and appropriates same to the following accounts: Community Policing Misc Contr Sery ($36,230), Educ-Scien-Recr Equip ($1,800), Computer Equip ($19,375) and Misc� Equip ($13,440). AYES: Councilmembers Arakaki* Childs, Domingo, Easley, Osorio, Ray, Smith, and Council Chairman De Lima, - 8. NOES: None. BILL 300: An Ordinance to amend Ordinance 96-72, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1997, by increasing revenues in the Federal Grants - Seatbelt Enforcement account by $500; and appropriates same to the Seatbelt Enforcement account. AYES: Councilmembers Arakaki, Childs, Domingo, Easley, Osorio, Ray, Smith, and Council Chairman De Lima, - 8. NOES: None.
