ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII
COUNTY CODE 1983 , RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII :
SECTION 1 . Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-257,
schedule 5, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 , relating to to 35
mile per hour limit, is amended by adding new subsections to be
appropriately numbered and to read as follows :
( ) Lama Street, Kanoelehua Street to Railroad Avenue.
( ) Makalika Street , Kanoelehua Street to Railroad
Avenue.
( ) Mamaki Street Stainback Highway to Awa Street .
SECTION 2 . Chapter 24 . Article 10, Section 24-257,
Schedule 5, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 is further amended by
repealing Ordinance No . 91-67.
SECTION 3 . Chapter 24 , Article 10, Section 24-260,
Schedule 8, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 , relating to 45 mile
per hour limit, is amended by adding a new subsection to be
appropriately numbered and to read as follows :
( ) RAILROAD AVENUE, Puainako Street to its southern
terminus .

SECTION 4 . New material is underscored. In printing this
ordinance, the underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 5 . If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without
the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 6 . This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval .
