SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
Speed Limit Along Kamehameha Avenue, 25 MPH to 35 MPH
The Wailoa Bridge Construction Project has been completed. The existing 25
mph construction zone speed limit should be deleted and reinstated with the
35 mph speed zone.
We request the Hawaii County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-257,
Schedule 5 (35 mile per hour limit) be amended.
Further amend the Traffic Code by deleting Item 11 from Section 24-255,
Schedule 3 (25 mile per hour limit).
