SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
Kauhale Street - Proposed Freight Loading Zone
The Department of Parks and Recreation requests that a Loading Zone be
authorized along Kauhale Street in front of the Pahoa Community Center.
Purpose of the Loading Zone is to provide parking for vans and busses
unloading food and Senior Citizens at the center.
We request the Hawaii County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-288,
Schedule 36, (Freight Loading Zones) be amended.
A location map is attached for your information.
