Your Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit,to which was referred Resolution
No. 142-19, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 142-19, introduced by Committee Chair Susan L.K. Lee Loy by request of the
Administration, and transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Danny Patel via
Communication No. 239, dated April 11, 2019, accepts the dedication of Lot 2-B, identified as
TMK No. (3) 2-2-036:042 (Por.), situated at Waiakea, District of South Hilo, Hawai`i, from
CHEDHOLD LLC, a Hawai`i Limited Liability Company. CHEDHOLD intended to dedicate
the aforementioned roadway and all improvements thereon to the County for roadway purposes.
Before the discussion began, Committee Chair Sue Lee Loy relinquished the role of presiding
officer to Vice Chair Matt Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder.
Committee Member Lee Loy said the resolution came by request of the Administration and that
Public Works Director David Yamamoto was present in Hilo to answer any questions that
Committee Members may have. No questions were asked, nor were any comments made.
Your Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Resolution No. 142-19, and recommends its adoption.
