JNtvr' <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />1rE OF•HF,.d <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO INSTALL CARPETING AT THE OLD NORTH <br />KOHALA COURTHOUSE FOR THE COUNTY'S SENIOR RECREATIONAL <br />ACTIVITIES. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division, <br />provides an array of senior services and recreational activities that are fun and educational to <br />promote health, dignity, and self -enrichment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation would like to install carpeting at <br />the old North Kohala Courthouse, a County facility, to improve the acoustics and to allow for <br />increased elderly activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to cover the <br />costs for the installation of carpeting at the old North Kohala Courthouse; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAPI that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to install carpeting at the old North Kohala Courthouse for the County's <br />senior recreational activities. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,300 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $1,300 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5519.12 Department of Parks and Recreation $1,300 <br />EAD Admin OCE <br />235 Misc.
