The Department of Research and Development requests that this appropriation <br /> be increased by an additional $200,000. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the <br /> additional funds into the Coffee Berry Borer Pesticide Subsidy program account(s), bringing <br /> the total grant appropriation to $260,000. <br /> The Department of Research and Development is requesting that this bill be waived from Finance <br /> Committee and be placed on the June 4, 2019 Council agenda, and to waive the Council's five-day <br /> hold for reconsideration in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
