RESOLUTION NO. IL93 19
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES
INCURRED AT THE 2019 YOUTH FOOTBALL CLINIC AT THE OLD AIRPORT
FIELD IN WEST HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation provides recreational opportunities
for youths participating in organized sports programs tend to achieve higher results in school,
develop excellent interpersonal skills, and lead healthier lives; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Hawaii Pop Warner
Association is co -sponsoring a Youth Football Clinic in West Hawaii on June 11, 2019; and
WHEREAS, directing the clinic will be the football coaching staff from the University
of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting reimbursement for
lodging, airfare, water, and miscellaneous expenses associated with the 2019 Youth Football
Clinic; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to Department of Parks
and Recreation for reimbursement for expenses incurred at the 2019 Youth Football Clinic at the
Old Airport Field in West Hawaii.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
