Enclosed is a resolution accepting a monetary donation of$600 from the Hawai`i
Emergency Physicians Associated, Inc., P. 0. Box 1266, Kailua, HI 96734. This money
will used in support of EMS Week and the Hawai`i Fire Department EMS Team.

This donation is received without any obligations to the Hawaii Emergency Physicians Associated, Inc. and is
given as an expression of gratitude to the EMS Team for all their hard work and dedication.
Funds will be used in support of EMS Week and the Hawaii Fire Department EMS Team and will enhance
morale of the personnel.

RE: Resolution No. 200-19 : A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE
OF A MONETARY DONATION OF $600 TO THE HAWAII FIRE DEPARTMENT
Pursuant to Section 2(g) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing
this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and
the matter be placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request
is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on
Finance for placement on its future agenda.
