CALL TO ORDER: A public hearing to consider the proposed operating and capital budgets
for fiscal year July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020, was called to order by
Chair Aaron S. Y. Chung at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers,
Hilo.
ATTENDANCE:

Ms. Ashley L. Kierkiewicz, Member

Mr. Herbert M. "Tim" Richards, III, Member
Ms. Rebecca Villegas, Member
CHR. CHUNG: Good evening. I'm going to open up this public meeting
on the operating and capital budgets of the County of Hawaii and take
testimony from those wishing to speak. We actually have on the agenda
two sites that were supposed to be online—Hilo and Kona—but I also see
Waimea and Pahoa.
