Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting the donation of used office divider-panels valued at
$96,181.36 from the State of Hawaii Department of Labor, 1990 Kino'ole Street, Suite
101, Hilo,Hawaii 96720. These panels will be used in the offices occupied by the
Office of Housing and Community Development at 1990 Kino`ole Street in Hilo.

Please prepare a resolution to accept a donation of used panels valued at $96,181.36. Amount is based on
value when the panels were purchased in fiscal year 20b5. Panels are being used at the Office of Housing &
Community Developments recently relocated to 1990 Kinoole St. Suite 102 in Hilo. Please send a letter of
appreciation to:

The used panels were donated from the Department of Labor (DOL) when DOL vacated the office space we
are currently renting for our administrative offices.

Pursuant to Section 2 of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the Count of

Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing
this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and
the matter be placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request
is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on
Finance for placement on its future agenda.
