COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 208 1.9 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION <br />OF OFFICE DIVIDER PANELS FROM THE STATE OF HAWAII <br />DEPARTMENT OF LABOR <br />WHEREAS, the State of Hawaii Department of Labor is donating used office <br />divider panels to the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD); and <br />WHEREAS, these panels will be used in the offices occupied by the OHCD at <br />1990 Kino`ole Street in Hilo; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter <br />provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of <br />money, securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real <br />estate, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County Code <br />states that any gifts or donations of money, securities, or personal property which fall <br />within the capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be accepted <br />by resolution approved by the Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Office of Housing and Community Development <br />recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in <br />accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, and <br />Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County Code, the Council of <br />the County of Hawaii accepts this donation. <br />
