Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii, Surplus Property
Office, 729 Kakoi Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819 for the acceptance of a donation of a 2012
F550 ENC Aero Elite Bus (Hydrogen Bus) to the County of Hawai`i's Mass Transit Agency.
The bus (with current mileage of 1,415) has an original cost value of$105,424.00 and will be as
part of the Mass Transit Agency's transportation fleet. The County of Hawaii will be obligated
to pay a$500 service and handling fee to the State of Hawaii, Surplus Property Office.

A. REQUEST:
The County of Hawaii Mass Transit Agency requests a Resolution to enter into an Agreement with the State
of Hawaii - Surplus Property Office (State Surplus) to accept the Donation of a 2012 F550 ENC Aero Elite
Bus (Hydrogen Bus) with a milege of 1,415. The County of Hawaii will pay a service and handling fee of
$500.00 to the State Surplus office.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Mei Phillips from the State of Hawaii Surplus Property Office obtained the Bus on behalf of the County of
Hawaii. The Hydrogen Bus has an original cost value of$105,424.00 with a total of 1,415 mileage. The
Hydrogen Bus shall be used by the Mass Transit Agency as part of their Transportation Fleet.
