Aloha Council Members,Testifiers, audience and Video viewers, My name is Beth Lerds
I have three points to share with you:
#1. The current EIR for the TMT is out of date and a Supplemental EIR is required. New information since the old EIR was
drafted on May 1, 2010.
***.Planned Military use of the TMT with no review.This has been covered up and not disclosed!
#2. Canary Islands as an alternative was never an option but a "cover-up alternative'as Canary Islands is not U. S. and U.
S. would have no control!
#3. A Supplemental EIR is required.
On another very disturbing issue needed to be discussed:
#4. It is now public knowledge that a group of men (they could be called terrorists) destroyed sacred ahu shrines in the
middle of the night under cover of darkness and dumped the remains of the shrine in a truck labeled "JUNK REMOVAL".
This is unconscionable and needs to be investigated.A sign in olelo was installed on Mauna Kea directed to the Hawaiian
Kingdom that threadened something deadly could happen on the road to the summit.This is known as a Terroristic
Threat which is a crime.
#5. A full investigation is hereby requested on behalf of the Mauna Kea Protectors and a Stop Work Order notifying all
contractors, builders,Junk Removal trucks, midnight raids and other work related to the TMT.
My testimony will be forwarded to Governor Ige, Lt. Governor Josh Green, DLNR Suzanne Case,Attorney General
Connors, U.H. President Lasson and the Stdent Body President of U. H.The Star Advertiser,The Garden Isle Newspaper,
KTTV, Hawaii Public Radio, Big Island News,and of course, any Testifyers who would request a copy.
