Aloha Council Members:
Please support Resolution 218-19,that will reestablish regional ocean access to Pohoild Boat
Ramp and include collaboration with local entities, with consideration to the impact on our
community, cultural resources and environment.
The local families rely on the boat ramp to provide economic resources to their families.
Reestablishing the boat ramp will eliminate years of survey, consultation, and research should
the council choose another spot. Not to mention bull doze over historical sites that are as
important to the spirit of the people of this community.
The people of this community have already endured three consecutive years of crisis: the split
of the children to north or south, TS Iselle, and the Leilani Eruption. The community needs the
boat ramp as soon as possible.
Thank you for voting to support Resolution 218-19.
