Thank you County Councilor Ashley Kierkiewicz for introducing Resolution 212-19. I'm the Puna Neighborhood Watch Coordinator and President of Hawaiian Paradise Park Neighborhood Watch a nonprofit 501©3. We would like to volunteer to host National Night Out with your help. This will be the first time ever to organize an event to bring the police and community together to increase understanding, strengthen relationships, and build safer neighborhoods. It's time to say thank you and honor our police officers and first responders that put their lives on the line to serve and protect us. 4 National Night Out is celebrated on Oahu and across the United States every year. On October 1St we'd like to provide a fun and educational event with demonstrations, booths, games, prizes, food, and music. With your help, along with local businesses, and volunteers this will be a free celebration and a great opportunity to build safer and more secure communities. Thank you ti p c Comm. No. Ref.
