Subject: Resolution 233-19
Chair Chung, Vice Chair Eoff and Council Members
I urge you not to advance this resolution and not to wade into this issue at
the last minute. ,
"The County has issued.the Grading Permit for the TMT project allowing it to
proceed. If you now ask for an open-ended delay, without a mutual
understanding between the parties of an expected outcome, in my opinion
y you are exposing the County unnecessarily to the liabilities for damages
which may be awarded in future.
-The Council should respect the rule of law applied in this situation by
Hawaii's Statutes and its Courts.
