My name is Makana Parker and I was raised in Waimea on Hawai'i Island. I'vegrown up on the slopes of
Mauna Kea, she is my home. She protects us, shelters us, sustains us and we must protect her.
I highly oppose the thirty meter telescope and encourage the proposed 60 day moratorium to halt construction.
