RESOLUTION NO. 254 19
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A
DONATION OF FUNDS TO BE USED TOWARDS TRAVEL AND
OTHER EXPENSES FOR ROCKY MOUNTAIN INSTITUTE MOBILITY
INNOVATION LAB PROJECT ACCELERATOR WORKSHOP
ATTENDANCE TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, the Ulupono Initiative is donating funds to the County of Hawaii
Department of Research and Development for travel and other expenses to attend
the Rocky Mountain Institute Mobility Innovation Lab Project Accelerator Workshop;
and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Department of Research and Development
recommends approval of this donation by the Ulupono Initiative; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides
that the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money,
securities, or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; now
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County
of Hawaii, accepts this donation.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of
this resolution to the Department of Research and Development, the Department of
Finance and the Office of the Mayor.
