Leilani Estates is rebuilding. And we need your help.
Our community is committed to being stronger and healthier than ever before
following the destruction and loss of last year's eruption. We have residents and
leaders who are right now working tirelessly to restore the safety, infrastructure and
beauty that are the proud hallmarks of Leilani Estates.
We still have lots of work ahead of us. Selfless community volunteers have thwarted a
rise in crime, enabled temporary road repairs and formed committees and task forces
that will effectively tackle all that remains ahead.
What we lack is sufficient funding to make all of this happen. That is why we need
your help.
We have read of the many millions of federal, state and county dollars that have been
secured for Kilauea disaster recovery. Thank you so very much for your part in this
process. And now, as our Hawaii County Council, help us quickly and efficiently
secure our fair share of this funding commensurate to our incredible loss and future
needs.
Tell us, how do we ensure our eligibility for this financial assistance and then, how and
when can we receive these funds?
We invite you to come meet with our community, marvel at what has been
accomplished, and see for yourself what remains to be done.
Sincerely, Leilani Estates
