Your Subcommittee on Real Property Tax submits for approval, the
following report:
83-HSAC-5 provides that any real property tax
which is in excess of 10 percent of the income
of homeowners receiving a multiple home
exemption shall be forgiven, if the claimant's
household income is $20,000 or less;
a favorable recommendation of 83-HSAC-5 be forwarded to the Hawaii
State Association of Counties Real Property Tax Committee.
