Change of Zone Ordinance No. 93-100 (REZ 745)

Request: Extension of Time to Condition C (Complete Construction)

We have received your letter and 20 copies dated July 6, 1999 and $250 filing fee regarding a
one-year extension of time to Condition C of Ordinance No. 93-100.
Condition C reads as follows:
"C. construction of the proposed industrial development shall be completed within five
(5) years from the effective date of the change of mne ordinance;
Our records indicate that the effective date of Ordinance No. 93-100 is October 8, 1993, thereby
requiring construction to be completed by October 8, 1998. By letter dated August 6, 1997, a
one-yeaz administrative extension of time until October 8, 1999, was ganted by the Planning
Director.
According to our files, you were only ganted aone-yeaz administrative extension of time in lieu
of the five years that you should have been ganted and were entitled to by Ordinance. Therefore,
by this letter, you are ganted the remaining four years, that you could have requested. With this
additional time, construction and all related requirements shall be completed by October 8, 2003.
In the future, should you still need an additional extension of time, your request and reasons along
with 20 copies and a $250 filing fee shall be submitted to the Planning Commission. A public

hearing would be heard to review your request with a Seal decision to be made by the County
Council. New regulations now require you to inform surrounding property owners twice,
initially, when your application is submitted; and secondly, upon notification that a public hearing
has been scheduled.
We are returning your $250.00 filing fee under separate cover. Should you have any questions
