With reference to County of Hawaii Resolution 119 99, the members of the
board of the Hilo Outdoor Circle unanimously support the concept of a land
exchange or purchase of the Ice House property [TMK 3-2-1-3-24],
provided that the result is the dismantling and demolition of all
improvements on this parcel and its reversion to park land. If the result
of such land exchange or purchase is that a person, business or other entity
or agency then plans to redevelop this property, then, we would naturally
be opposed to this proposal.
