HomeMy WebLinkAboutBIL 099 Draft 01 2018-2020COUNTY OF HAWAII A 19 1 =well] 0 1 1 STATE OF HAWAII BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 19-22 appropriated $170,355.00 in funds donated by private sources into an account titled "2018 Lava Disaster Relief — Private" to allow the County to expend these donated funds for lava disaster relief recovery efforts. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the list of projects to be funded by the revenues appropriated via Ordinance No. 19-22, as identified in Exhibit A of Ordinance No. 19- 22. This ordinance exclusively amends the County agency that may expend funds in the amount of and up to $15,000 for the purposes of "Safety efforts in Leilani Estates". SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 19-22 is hereby amended by replacing the "Police Department" with the "Office of the Prosecuting Attorney" as appearing in Exhibit A to allow the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to expend funds in the amount and up to $15,000.00 for the purpose of "Safety efforts in Leilani Estates". The revised exhibit is attached hereto. SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or application of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 4. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
