RE: Transmitting Resolution 263-19,Draft 2,RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE
FISCAL YEAR FOR MULTI-YEAR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS FOR THE
PLANNING DEPARTMENT.
Please find attached Resolution 263-19,Draft 2.The Council verbally amended Resolution 263-19 during
its September 4,2019 Council Meeting. It did so after suspending Rule No. 14(e)prior to making the
motion to amend the contents of Resolution 263-19 to allow for the amendment to proceed,though not
presented in written format.The Council subsequently suspended Rule No. 24(1)(e)to allow for further
discussion and a vote,prior to adopting Resolution 263-19,Draft 2.
The proposed verbal amendment is illustrated below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of
Resolution 263-19.Material to be deleted is to be bracketed and stricken.
