RESOLUTION NO. 319 19
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO THE OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING
ATTORNEY FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES RELATED TO THE 2019
STUDENT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT.
WHEREAS, the 2019 Student Leadership Summit is a facilitation of student leadership
workshop designed to bring together leadership groups of students to plan and implement
activities and events that will develop a more positive school climate; and
WHEREAS, one of the goals of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is to encourage
and promote crime prevention and early intervention initiatives to improve the quality of life on
the Big Island; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney has requested a reimbursement of
expenses related to youth lunches for the 2019 Student Leadership Summit that is scheduled for
September 13, 2019; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Office of the
Prosecuting Attorney to provide reimbursement of expenses related to the 2019 Student
Leadership Summit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney and Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance
is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
