Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 302-19,reports as follows:
Resolution No. 302-19 transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 466 dated
August 29, 2019, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one fiscal year
for a multi-year agreement with Spectrum (Charter Communications).
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with an approximate
monthly cost of$1,710, to increase internet connection speeds to computer server centers at the Hilo
Civil Defense Agency and the West Hawaii Civic Center.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 302-19, and
recommends its adoption.
