Aloha All,
Just a note to thank all of you for your very thoughtful and informative discussion on Resolution 301. 1 attended the
meeting in Hilo because I was in town for another meeting. Your response to citizen concerns was refreshing and the
word is spreading quickly that your decision to postpone and clarify the resolution was a good one. It was also good to
see that the responsible County departments are already considering alternatives to alleviate solid waste impact to the
environment.
Mahalo for your efforts. Looks like it was a long day for all of you. I for one appreciate your hard work for our
community.
