SUBJECT: Update from the Planning Department regarding the regulation of short term vacation
rentals.
By means of this communication I am requesting a 60 minute discussion and update on the
implementation of Ordinance No. 18-114, also known as Bill 108, regarding registration of short-term
vacation rentals in Hawaii County.
Please place this matter on the Planning committee agenda for November 5, 2019.
