SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
Nahele Loop Proposed No Parking Zone
The Kona Highway Maintenance Division recently cleaned out a drainage ditch
on the mauka side of Nahele Loop. Shoulders in this area are now not wide
enough to accommodate parked vehicles.
The proposed parking restrictions should not affect businesses in the
immediate area as off street parking is available on the south side of
St. Paul Road.
We request the Hawaii County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-280
(No parking at anytime) under North Kona, be amended.
A location map is attached for your information and use.
