SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
North Ala Road - Proposed 25 mph speed limit
We received a request to authorize a speed limit along North Ala Road
between Route 11 and Huina Road. The Traffic Division conducted trial runs
and find 25 mph to be appropriate for this section of roadway.
We request the Hawaii County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-255,
Schedule 3 (25 mile per hour limit) be amended.
A location map is attached for your information.
