Resolution
WIHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the Charter requires that any
contract , lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds
Irom appropriations of a 'Later fiscal year be approved by
resolution ; and
WHEREAS, it is desired by the County to enter, into a
longer-term contract for bus service between Kohela-Mauna Kea
Beach and Honokaa-Mauna Kea Beach ;
NOW, THEREFCRE , BE 11 RESOLVED that the most advantageous
bus contracts not exceeding three years for the Kohala-Kauna Kea
Beach and Honokea-l"t'launa Kea Beach routes be approved and that
necessary funds be provided in the following fiscal. years to
cover the obligation of the County .
