I was not able to testify in person today, so thank you for making it possible for Hawaii County residents to make our voices heard by emailing our testimony. I am a 15-year resident of Volcano. I chair the Volcano Community Action Network(V-CAN), and we hold a monthly gathering for positive political action called the "Conscious Coffee House" which represents approximately 90 people. Although i cannot honestly vouch for every member of our group, i can tell you that we conducted a recent survey of issues of concern, and the#1 issue expressed by an overwhelming majority is f the environment.
