Aloha Councilmembers:
I support the passage of Bill 101.
I have spent years studying the adverse health impacts of glyphosate containing pesticides.
The objective scientific literature overwhelmingly indicates numerous adverse health impacts
due to exposure to these herbicides. While lymphoma is linked to glyphosate herbicide
exposure and has resulted in successful lawsuits,there are many other impacts not as well
known including endocrine disruption and birth defects.
I have testified before the council on this subject before and can provide supportive literature.
I do hope that the Council passes this legislation, it is the responsible choice to protect the
health of the keiki, County workers and the public at large.
