Aguiar of Kailua-Kona Council District 8, to the <br /> Board of Appeals. Ms. Aguiar is the Deputy Director of Public Safety for the Ironman <br /> World Championship events and former Operations and Development Manager of <br /> Manini Holdings and Project Superintendent/Project Manager for GM Construction, Inc. <br /> Ms. Aguiar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton. <br /> She was born and raised in Hawai'i and is very active in our community. Ms. Aguiar has <br /> volunteered her time to many different organizations, including the Office of the <br /> Prosecuting Attorney, Kamehameha Canoe Club, and Hawaii Association of Athletic <br /> Volunteers. She is also the founding volunteer for Gold Cast Little league. <br /> Ms. Aguiar states that she is not a member of any political party. If confirmed, she will <br /> fill a vacant term to end December 31, 2019 and will qualify to apply for reappointment <br /> to a full five-year term. <br /> Your review and favorable confirmation are requested.
