Additional federally-derived funds in the <br /> amount of$110,000 is being provided by the State of Hawaii Department of Health, Alcohol and <br /> Drug Abuse Division to fund salary and program expenses. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Substance Abuse Prevention <br /> Coordination account, bringing the total appropriation to $260,000. <br /> The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance <br /> Committee and be placed on the November 6, 2019 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt <br /> of these funds.
