SUBJECT: Presentation on OpenGov by Paul Felton
We respectfully request an hour of time for a presentation on OpenGov; a governmental
budgeting, performance, communications, and reporting software that can improve internal and
external accessibility and transparency of financial and performance data. Currently the State of
Hawaii and the County of Kauai have switched over to this software platform, with Maui
County scheduled to join shortly. Thirty minutes should be allowed for the presentation and
thirty minutes for questions and answers.
If possible, please place this on the agenda for the November 5, 2019 Finance Committee
meeting. We appreciate your consideration to this request.
