RESOLUTION NO. 370 19
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES RELATED TO THE
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM AT THE KAILUA FIRE STATION.
WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Fire Department's Kailua Fire Station is located on Palani
Street in Kailua-Kona and provides residents and visitors of Hawai`i County with mitigation of
diverse emergency incidents; and
WHEREAS, due to declining performance, the air conditioning system at the Kailua Fire
Station has failed and is need of repairs; and
WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Fire Department is requesting funds to assist with repairs of the
air conditioning system at the Kailua Fire Station; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Hawai`i Fire
Department to assist with expenses related to its air conditionig system for the Kailua Fire
Station.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of theD County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Fire Chief and Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
