RESOLUTION NO. 371 19
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR AIR CONDITIONING REPAIRS AT THE
HAWAII FIRE DEPARTMENT'S KAILUA FIRE STATION.
WHEREAS, the mission of the Hawai`i Fire Department is to provide exceptional
emergency services to residents and visitors of Hawai`i County; and
WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Fire Department supports the well-being of its fire fighters on
duty at fire stations by providing and maintaining air cooling systems for comfort; and
WHEREAS, the Hawai`i Fire Department is requesting funds to repair the air-
conditioning unit at the Kailua Fire Station in North Kona; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Hawai`i Fire
Department for repair of the air conditioning unit at the Kailua Fire Station.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Fire Chief and Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
