Resolution
W EREAS, Section 2 of Ordinance No. 69 provides that the
County Council may by resolution, approved by a majority of its
members, dispose of real property; and
WHEREAS, the Hawaii Public Broadcasting Authority
(Channel 4, Hilo) , A Division of the Department of Regulatory
Agencies, plan to install translator equipment to serve the
residents of the Volcano area; and
W EREAS, the building and tower located at Kulani Cone,
Kula i, Hawaii, are no longer needed by the police department
for radio communication purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
In accordance with the provision of Ordinance No. 69, the
director of finance be authorized to transfer the building and
tower located at Kulani Cone, Kulani, Hawaii, to the State of
Hawaii, Department of Regulatory Agencies.
