Resolution

WHEREAS, the County advertised for bids and received only
one bid for a three--year fire insurance policy with $50,000
deductible, which insures buildings and equipment against the
perils of fire and extended coverage;
WHEREAS, the annual premium of $22, 260 on valuations of
$30, 774, 120 was evaluated and found to be acceptable; and
WHEREAS, Section 10--11 of the Charter requires that any
contract, lease or Other obligation requiring payment of funds
from appropriations of a later fiscal year be approved by
resolution;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the County Council of the
County of Hawaii that the bid be accepted and fire insurance
policy be purchased for the three-year period from November 1,
1977 to October 31, 1950 and that sufficient funds not exceeding
$30, 000 per year be provided to pay premiums for each of the
three years®
