Resolution
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 1, ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 6, 1976, DESIGNATING
THE COUNCIL CHAIRMAN AND THE VICE CHAIRMAN OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII , AND DECLARING THE DULY ELECTED CHAIRMAN AND
VICE CHAIRMAN OF THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that Resolution No. 1 adopted on December 6 , 1976, designating
the Council Chairman and the Vice Chairman of the Council of
the County of Hawaii is hereby repealed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Councilman Stephen K. Yamashiro
be and he is hereby delcared the duly elected chairman and
presiding officer of the Council of the County of Hawaii effective
December 22 , 1977; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Councilman Joseph R. Garcia, Jr.
be and he is hereby declared the duly elected vice chairman of
the Council of the County of Hawaii.
