Resolution
WHEREAS, the road remnant which has been created by the construction
of the Hawaii Belt Highway in Waipunalei, North Hilo, Hawaii, has not been
abandoned; and
WHEREAS, said road remnant is no longer of any use to the County of
Hawaii;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the road remnant which has been created by the construction of the
Hawaii Belt Highway as delineated in red on the map attached hereto and
marked Exhibit "A", be and is hereby declared abandoned as a roadway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized and directed
to forward a copy of this resolution to the Department of Land and Natural
Resources - State of Hawaii and to the Department of Public Works of the
County of Hawaii.
