Subject: Testimony in Support of Bill 101
To Whom It May Concern,
I am a resident and homeowner in lower Puna on Hawaii Island - I live on Kalapana-Kapaho Beach Road -and I am very
pleased that the county is considering eliminating the use of herbicides in public places and along the roads.
I strongly support eliminating the use of Roundup and other herbicides in public lands wherever possible. I often drive
our country roads and see the effects of the herbicides on the sides of the road -the dead yellow grasses-and I'm
concerned about the safety of the residents and our children as we walk, ride and drive on these roads.
Please add my testimony to the others supporting Bill 101.
