Subject: Please keep pesticides away from our Meiji and water sources

When I see vast swaths of weeds brown and wilted along the roadway at the top of
the hill of Highway 130, I feel dread and fear because I am needing protection and
health for the students that go to school at at the bottom of the hill. Is it really the case
that absolutely no pesticides make it to the school with all the cars driving by and all
the rain that comes down Puna side?
I'm also wanting security in knowing that the state I live in can determine a strategy that
considers the health of all its people while managing the vegetation. We know that pesticides
are poisonous to humans and with chronic exposure it will lead to illness. I strongly prefer
weeds over pesticides at playgrounds and school and all places over this very special paradise
that we all call home.
