Due to the vastre onderance of scientific evidence linkingherbicides to various human and

animal diseases including neurological diseases and cancers, and the evidence that the
herbicides used in Hawaii are washing into the ocean and killing our coral reefs and negatively
impacting marine bio-diversity, I respectfully implore the County Council to approve this bill
banning the use of pesticides on our island home.
