Aloha Coucil members,
Please, vote in FAVOR of Bill 101 to limit the County's use of-chemical herbicides.
Thousands of Hawaii families, with their own yards and gardens, manage to control weeds,and pests with 100%
organic substances, and non-toxic control-methods (like goats) that work in harmony with nature. If we folks at home
can do it, why can't you?
A little more money spent, and a little more resources allocated, toward organic weed and pest control, could actually
save money by reducing medical costs, costs of remedial reparations, and especially legal costs.
Hawaii is getting a reputation as a "poisoned-paradise," which it ,unfortunately, deserves.
Please, take this baby-step toward cleaning up the environment to protect the health and well-being of the people, the
keiki, and the gnerations yet to come.
